There is no 20-30% buyers premium on top of this sale as you would have to pay at an auction these days. That's huge overall savings folks. Thanks for looking and please check out my other ebay lighting auctions as well. I have for sale this very nice and seldom seen Handel lamp base. This is a very nice base and its without any metalware damage and in fine working order. THE SHADE AS SHOWN IN THE PHOTO IS FOR DEMONSTRATION PURPOSES ONLY AND NOT PART OF THIS SALE. It has a three socket cluster with all Hubbell sockets and matching pulls and with all sockets working nicely. Its period 1905-1925 and not a reproduction. Its also been recently rewired with proper period style cloth cord and old style plug. It measures 22.5 inches tall. Theres probably a small blemish here or there as to be expected but certainly nothing to be alarmed about in any way. I mention for accuracy sake and the picky folks who think a 100 year old base should be perfect lol. This type of base would have been used for high end Handel reverse painted shades most likely the jungle bird shades and or quality scenic. It has its original gesso patina and its very good throughout the base. Like i said, a fairly rare base. As for the shade if you have any questions feel free to inquire.
